Introduction to the online slander tactics of Michael Edelstein

This blog has been created to warn potential victims of notorious internet slanderer Michael Edelstein. Michael Edelstein, aka Michael M. van Lauesen, is currently posing as author Steven King in his latest series of YouTube clips that he posts under the user name mrmajestic66. These video rants are primarily against his latest victims Warner Brothers and WBFI Investments.

Edelstein regularly victimises people and businesses if they displease him in any way – usually when his practice of extortion doesn’t work. In the case of Warner Brothers, they fired him from his job as a tour guide for petty theft. WBFI is a company based in Hungary which fired him only days after he was hired as a gopher because he had given them false documents and work records. He demanded $10,000 from the owner of the company or he would “ruin them via the internet with [his] blog.” She declined to comply, and his rant campaign is the result.

Edelstein has an extensive criminal record. He was born in California, and after high school his parents (who are medical professionals) got him a job at a local hospital as an orderly. After working there for less than a year, he was fired for stealing cash and other valuables from elderly patients. He has had similar brushes with the law, and has served time in jail for acts of violence, extortion and lewd behaviour with a minor. He later moved to Poland where his parents owned property, and it wasn’t long before Polish authorities were after him for uttering bomb threats. He fled Poland, where there are still warrants out for his arrest, to Hungary where he continued his criminal activity. The police there questioned him about his involvement with internet fraud schemes, and soon after the incident with WBFI, he left Hungary and returned to the USA.

If you feel you may be the victim of internet fraud or slander, and Michael Edelstein is behind it, contact us. He may try to apply for work at your business (only to extort you later), so have a good look at his YouTube videos so you can recognise his simian features. We will be publishing an extensive list of anyone who has suffered from his slander, and we would be glad to include your name or the name of your business in our blog.
